Sewing Caddy

I was a little bored tonight as the guys were working on a motorcycle in my kitchen, yes I did say in my kitchen. Apparently it is too cold outside for them, so they pulled a freaking motorcycle into my kitchen...

What? You didn't believe me? Notice the tools taking over my counter and the missing dining table? It's in the spare bedroom..

Anyways....

So I busied myself in the living room and decided to do a little sewing. I've seen many variations of sewing caddies, some pretty fancy, some pretty simple. But I wanted one that could hold the essentials of what I use pretty much every time I sit down to sew.

You probably recognize this fabric from the hand warmers I made awhile back. I still have a ton of this left, you might just get bored of it by the time I use it all.

It has a removable thread catcher and removable pin cushion.

And I just folded the fabric on itself to make shorter pockets for my small scissors and seam ripper.

Already putting it to use with some of the craps from this project!

Oh and in case you are wondering, yes the motorcycle work is done and my kitchen has for the most part returned to it's normal state..

I'll be linking up!

This is so convenient! I'm a freelance clothing designer and it saves so much time to have all the supplies close by!

I am going to show my husband the motorcycle picture next time he complains about the piano I have in the kitchen.

great organization! This could be useful not only as sewing machine caddy, but at craft space, or even the remotes! haha ;)
